Zach Reynolds 1964 Ford Galaxie 500

Here is a car I bet not many of you out there have seen before. I hadn’t until my father brought it to my attention a few minutes ago. It is Zach Reynolds 1964 Ford Galaxie 500. I know what you are thinking what is so special about a 64 Galaxie 500?

Well for starters this car has had it’s stock engine removed and a supercharged 427 cubic inch engine with 4 side draft carbs installed in it’s place. I know that sounds good and all, but that is not really that big of a deal. Lots of cars now days have similar set ups. Yeah I know but this 1964 Galaxie 500 also has a Turbonique 850 horsepower Rocket Drag Axle!

I would love to see this car in person and watch it go down the drag strip, I bet it was quite the sight in it’s day! Check it out in the video below. I bet you have never seen anything like this before!
