Check out this really nice looking red 1978 Pontiac Trans Am that was sent in by a Wild Muscle Cars reader. The owner of this 78 Trans Am says that it is their 1/4 mile drag car that has a 400 cubic inch engine punched .030 over with a Lunati bottom end, and aluminum heads topped off with a Holley carb. This 1/4 mile warrior also is has a 12 bolt rear end that is sporting 4:11 gears to help it get down the track.

This is one of the rare 1973 Pontiac Trans Am that was painted Brewster Green. What makes this color so unique is that Brewster Green was only available for one year, and that was on the 73 Trans Am. in addition to the Brewster Green this Pontiac Trans Am is one of only 3,130 that were produced with an automatic transmission that is backing up a 455 cubic inch motor.

This 1973 Trans Am has an all matching numbers 455 cubic inch engine with factory air conditioning, and only 38,000 miles on the odometer. I would have to say that I have never seen a 73 Trans Am in this unusual color, and if I do happen to run across one in the future I bet it will not be this nice!

This one is for all you people out there who ever wondered what a 73 Trans Am with a 455 cubic inch engine would cost. I wish we could still get one of these Pontiac Trans Am for $5,464.75!
